Social Conformity Policy

As Metpack, our aim is to achieve production with social conformity. We promise to fulfill all of our legal requirements, take complete action in sustainability practices, obey work safety rules and regulations, respect the natural resources, respect our coworkers, create an open line of discussion, value every comment and advice. 

Prevention of Child Labor:

Protecting children from all kinds of abuse, healthy development and institutional respect for their right to education, not having employees under the age of 18, acting in accordance with the procedures and principles of child and youth labor,

Prevention of Forced and Compulsory Labori:

That there can be no contractually obligated or bonded labor and that work can only be voluntary,

Ensuring and Sustainability of Occupational Health and Safety:

To accept minimizing any loss that may occur by creating a safer and healthier working environment as a priority goal,

Prevention of Discrimination:

To take care not to discriminate against employees on the grounds of age, gender, race, religion, language, ancestry, ethnic and national origin, social class, sexual orientation, creed, marital, social or economic status, disability, political opinion, participation in or membership of trade union activities, family responsibilities, illness, pregnancy or military service, or any other condition that may give rise to discrimination,

Recruitment, Regular Employment:

In order to ensure the continuity of social compliance requirements, during recruitment, during the selection of personnel, technical and professional knowledge as well as compliance with company rules and the company's social compliance requirements will be considered as a necessary and important criterion and social security will be provided,

Ensuring Discipline, Prevention of Harassment and Maltreatment:

To take the peace of the working environment and the happiness of employees as a basis; to respect the dignity and personality of employees, not to use corporal punishment; not to allow verbal, physical, psychological harassment, threats or coercion; 

Communication of Wishes and Complaints:

To create alternative methods for each employee to communicate their wishes and complaints, to create an appropriate working environment by timely and effective evaluation and feedback, 

Working Hours:

Along with the principle of efficient working, to comply with the applicable laws and regulations in determining working hours, and to comply with the voluntary principle in overtime work,

Wages and Payments:

Not paying wages below the minimum wage, determining and paying the minimum wage to be paid to employees at a level that can meet the minimum standard of living in the region where the company is located, and continuously improving the conditions in this regard,

Bribery and Corruption:

That bribery / corruption and/or giving, receiving or offering kickbacks is not acceptable under any circumstances, 

Supply Chain Management:

We undertake to evaluate suppliers in terms of social compliance, to monitor the reasonable and adequate measures they take according to the results of the evaluation, and to support a collaborative approach to continuously improve their social compliance levels.
